AWAKENING SANCTUARY, INC serves as the umbrella organization that supports Vermont Playback Programs. Awakening Sanctuary, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is education and charitable activities. Awakening Sanctuary supports communities in becoming vital, creative, healthy and sustainable. A current initiative for Awakening Sanctuary is the Ceres Creative Arts Initiative which purpose is to build bridges between people through programs utilizing the arts, which promotes respect for self and others. The Ceres Initiative currently supports Vermont Playback Theatre, The StreetWise Program. Support comes from grants, income from services and public donations.
