Come learn the unique and playback art of Playback Theatre! This is your chance to experience Playback and to experience it first hand. In this workshop, participants will join company members from Vermont Playback Theatre to do theatre games, theatre improvisation and the form of Playback Theatre. Based on personal story, we will discover this art of improv theatre by also discovering ourselves.

Vermont Playback Theatre was formed in 2002. The company has performed throughout Vermont, and company members have taught and performed throughout
the Northeast, in Europe, and in Bangladesh.

Shelburne Art Center is a nonprofit arts organization serving residents of Chittenden County and beyond. For over 60 years it has been a focal point in the cultural life of
the community, offering year-round classes and education programs for people of all ages in our studios on Falls Road and Harbor Road. The Art Center’s gallery exhibits the work of artists from Vermont and New England while highlighting the work of our artists in residence, instructors and students. The gallery focuses on fine art and craft exhibits and displays a beautiful assortment of pottery, prints, wood furnishings, jewelry, and cards - perfect for unique and personalized gifts. All proceeds from gallery sales support the Art Center’s education programs. Gallery hours are 10:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and 11:00am-5:00pm on Saturdays.
