Jen Kristel –
Artistic Director, has been doing Playback Theatre for about 20 years. She offers and teaches Playback theatre locally and internationally. She has always loved hearing a good story, and in listening to persons' personal story, always feels honored, enriched, and touched. For her, Playback is a way of life. As well as offering Playback, Jen is an arts based therapist in Burlington.
Donna Lescoe - Donna is drawn to
working with Playback Theater because it gives her a space to explore emotions
and events with sound and movement in a unique
way. She is new to theater performing and is awestruck by the power and healing
qualities inherit in reflecting back the essence of peoples’ stories.
Louise Stormes -Twenty five years
after earning her degree in fine arts, Louise returned to college at UVM to prepare
for a new career. She is now a therapist
who brings her creativity and expressiveness to both work and play. She has two
grown children and a big fat cat.
Michael Watson - Michael Watson has been doing Playback since before his hair
turned gray. He attended grammar school in the British countryside in the wake
of the Second World War. At school he learned to eat pudding, fight with the
local hoodlums and speak Queen’s English. He never completely recovered
from these pivotal experiences and at midlife clings to the very tatters of respectability
as a counselor, teacher, and witchdoctor. In his spare time he serves as a teacher at Burlington College.
